Family-run wood flooring · Bristol · Bath · Frome

Every floor has a story. So do we.

A family-run wood flooring company built on 16 years of craftsmanship, a meticulous approach to the work and a family story that inspired our name.

A family business with a story of its own.

Shakespeare Oak & Timber may be a new name, but the craftsmanship behind it has been developed over 16 years.

Founded by Mariusz and supported by his family, the business brings together practical experience, meticulous workmanship and a genuine commitment to doing things properly.

More than just a flooring company, Shakespeare Oak & Timber is a family business built on shared values, personal dedication and a story that means a great deal to us. The inspiration behind our name is something particularly close to our hearts.

The story behind our name

Why Shakespeare?

The name Shakespeare Oak & Timber carries a personal story. It was inspired by Edward, Dorota’s late father, who had a lifelong love of history and a particular affection for Shakespeare. Macbeth was his favourite.

Edward was a creative and talented person who supported his family in everything they did. His interests, personality and encouragement helped shape the name and the character behind the business.

Although Edward is no longer with us to see Shakespeare Oak & Timber come to life, his creativity, encouragement and love of history remain part of our family and the story we continue to build together.
